Strange but it appears now that you don’t need a PCR test to get in if fully vaccinated

joyo 12:30 Mon Nov 15
Re: Vienna going into lockdown
Slim you only need double jab to enter country, but the text doing the rounds is saying events with 25 plus need also PCR,
I personally think its more disinformation from the anti vax brigaide

Tests required for Vienna.

I need a PCR test anyway as we’re flying into Bratislava. It’s a requirement for Slovakia

I think back in early 2020 the conspiracy nutters were dismissed as nutters for stating that vaccines will be mandatory and lockdowns will become a regular thing.

I look forward to the restrictions on our freedoms to save the planet from climate change.

Strange world where compliance and pro government is the new liberalism and daring to question the narrative is right wing.

Obey!

It always begins in Austria

Re: Vienna going into lockdown
Dan M cheers but still confirms you only need to be fully vaccinated to get into hotel/restaurant/game etc
Good news is PCR tests are free in Vienna

Slim - within 72 hours for Slovakia, but within 48 hours for Vienna.

Best to find a same day result place and do it on Wednesday.

Re: Vienna going into lockdown
The Gov website now mentions our match & no mention of a PCR test

Yes this is the latest doom and gloom prediction from the conspiracy nutters....ain't gonna happen

Re: Vienna going into lockdown
Looks like they are bit covid bonkers in vienna and will be demanding vaccination proof plus a recent negative PCR test by the time we get there while locking up locals who haven't been jabbed. Hopefully we can take our masks off to sing in the ground and won't all have to wear claret and blue hazmat suits

Re: Vienna going into lockdown
What a fucking joke locking down the unvaccinated when the vaccinated as likely to get it and pass it on.

How can anyone find this acceptable

Pee Wee 1:15 Mon Nov 15
Re: Vienna going into lockdown
The vaccinated are less likely to be hospitalised. The hospitals are under pressure and so to ease that, they trying to slow imbeciles from contracting it.

Agree or disagree, the logic is pretty simple

Re: Vienna going into lockdown
I ordered one of those Vienna all day travel cards for use on the tram or trains next week. However, one of the conditions of travel is that an ‘FFP2’ style mask has to be worn, not one of one’s own choice. I’ve ordered a couple from ebay as my own ones aren’t of that type.

In the meantime, I’m going on a day trip via Sport Options, so will I now need to have one of those PCR tests in Vienna? I’ve got documentation for everything else, as per the Austrian government website requirements as of last week?

Re: Vienna going into lockdown
There’s an easy way to avoid being locked down. Get the vaccine. Let’s be honest. It’s almost two years since these vaccines started being developed. Billions of people have had them. The only people who’d rather be locked down than have the vaccine are mouthbreathing morons.

Don't agree with it, as said it's frightening how much power gov's can have, BUT maybe it's time for the non believers, stubborn lot, to bite the bullet. The world is a different place today. Those fucking kitchens have a LOT to answer for.

That Govt link is dated 8th Nov and these new changes have come in since then.

Looks like you need to take your PCR test before going to Austria, taking it on Weds if you are arriving on the Thursday.

That’s the Vienna mayor a few days back tweeting about the rules, you can get a free one in Vienna if there the day before the game it seems and should have results back , no confirmed date yet when these rules actually come into effect
